Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Fabric Engineer for a commercial building near Liverpool Street, London. You will carry out general fabric trades, including painting, carpentry, plumbing and basic electrical tasks, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The package includes up to £40,000 per year, overtime, further training, and a company pension. Hours are Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 with no call out. This role sits with an established FM provider in a central London office.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Able to perform general fabric duties (plumbing, painting, carpentry, basic electrical).
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Health & safety awareness and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Emergency lighting tests & fire alarm tests.
• Painting and decorating.
• Basic lighting work.
• Carpentry and plumbing basics.
• Fixing furniture and fittings.
• Hanging pictures and shelves.
• Maintaining and updating log books.
• Escort sub-contractors on site.
