Job summary

Val Wade Recruitment is recruiting a Sales and Events Coordinator in London for a fixed-term maternity cover (12-14 months). The role focuses on converting event enquiries, coordinating with clients and suppliers, and supporting the Catering and Hospitality team.

You will manage show-rounds, maintain client relationships, and help drive revenue while delivering excellent service in a high-profile venue environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years event sales and planning experience in a similar venue role.
• Knowledge of the events and catering industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales & Events Manager and Head of Sales & Events in converting enquiries into business.
• Coordinate events with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
• Provide administrative support to the Events department.
• Support in achieving team income targets through sales enquiries and follow-ups.
• Conduct show-rounds with potential clients and convert enquiries to bookings.
• Liaise with contacts and Inn's departments to ensure event details are communicated accurately.
• Plan and coordinate events, ensuring KPIs and revenue targets are met.
