Job summary

NABA London Here East is launching a new campus in London and seeks a Design and Fabrication Laboratory Supervisor to lead lab activities, ensure safety, and support teaching delivery. The role focuses on organizing laboratories, guiding students, and coordinating equipment and resources in a dynamic design education setting.

You will report to the London School Director and work on-site at Here East, contributing to the student experience from day one and helping to shape laboratory practices

Qualifications

• Degree in Product Design or Industrial Design or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years in workshop or laboratory environments within design education.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication materials, tools, and prototyping techniques.
• Fluency in English (C1/C2) written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in model making, prototyping, and fabrication processes.
• Coordinate laboratory scheduling with Academic Planning.
• Manage procurement, stock levels, and disposal of materials.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in labs.
