Job summary

Standard Life in London is seeking a Derivatives & Collateral Onboarding Analyst to own the end-to-end onboarding of derivative trading relationships. You will coordinate with the Front Office, Legal, Risk and external counterparties to ensure onboarding meets regulatory, legal and system requirements.

The ideal candidate will have derivatives onboarding experience, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of ISDA, CSA, GMRA and CDEA.

Qualifications

• Experience in derivatives or collateral onboarding within an asset management or financial services environment.
• Understanding of ISDA, CSA, GMRA and CDEA agreements.
• Knowledge of variation margin and initial margin requirements.
• Experience of KYC, due diligence and documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end onboarding of new and existing derivative trading counterparties.
• Acting as a key point of contact for derivative and collateral onboarding requests, providing clear updates and resolving queries.
• Coordinating KYC and reverse-KYC activity, including documentation requests, screening and due diligence queries.
• Building effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
• Managing and prioritising multiple onboarding requests to support timely delivery.
• Setting up and maintaining counterparty, agreement and portfolio configurations within Aladdin.
• Overseeing counterparty setup across platforms including FXALL, Tradeweb, DTCC and MarkitWire.
• Coordinating derivative legal documentation, including ISDA, CSA, GMRA, CDEA, IM CSD and ACA agreements.
• Maintaining accurate derivative and collateral agreement data.
• Supporting requirements relating to variation margin, initial margin and EMIR delegated reporting.
• Identifying issues at an early stage, applying sound judgement and escalating risks appropriately.
