Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a detail-oriented onboarding specialist to support end-to-end onboarding of counterparties and trading arrangements. You will review and negotiate derivatives documentation, coordinate across Compliance, Credit, Operations, Trading and Risk, and liaise with external counterparties to ensure readiness and governance.

The role emphasizes accuracy, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple onboarding requests.

Qualifications

• Experience with derivatives documentation, counterparty onboarding, and related regulatory considerations.
• Strong understanding of onboarding processes, account opening, and trade readiness requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to review comments, track points and maintain accurate data.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication with internal teams and external counterparties.
• Ability to coordinate across Legal, Compliance, Credit, Operations, Trading and Risk teams.
• Experience collaborating across multiple stakeholders to deliver onboarding outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end onboarding and integration of new counterparties, funds, products and trading arrangements, from initial request through to trading readiness.
• Review, negotiate and progress standard derivatives and trading documentation (ISDAs, CSAs, GMRAs, GMSLAs, prime brokerage, etc.).
• Coordinate approvals and dependencies across Compliance, Credit, Operations, Trading, Risk and other internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with external counterparties and internal teams to resolve documentation comments and know-your-customer requirements.
• Coordinate account opening, operational setup, static data, completion checks and readiness confirmations.
• Maintain accurate records and clear status reporting for onboarding pipelines and negotiations.
• Apply templates, playbooks and escalation criteria to ensure controlled activity.
• Support document execution, agreement data maintenance and post-execution handover.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
