Job summary

Standard Life plc in London/Birmingham is seeking a Collateral and Liquidity Specialist to join the Asset Management COO – Treasury Operations. You will analyse collateral and liquidity, translate complex data into clear insights, and help shape our collateral and liquidity framework.

This role offers exposure to risk, governance and regulatory reporting, with opportunities to challenge current processes and contribute to an evolving operating model.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives and collateral models (cleared, OTC and ETD/F&O).
• Understanding of trade lifecycle across fixed income and derivatives.
• Experience using complex data for regulatory reporting and MI.
• Ability to investigate, challenge and communicate data insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyse collateral balances, margins and liquidity to identify material movements for stakeholders.
• Oversee collateral and liquidity, including the Longbox model and asset pools.
• Contribute to changes that improve reporting, controls and operating model.
• Assess regulatory impacts on operations and support liquidity reporting.
• Support integration of new activities from acquisitions and BPA.
• Provide high-quality MI and clearly communicate liquidity and collateral impacts.
