Pulse Acute Doctors is recruiting an experienced Senior Registrar in Emergency Medicine for a central London teaching hospital. You will oversee patient flow, manage major trauma and resus areas, and mentor junior doctors within a busy ED.

The role requires stable NHS registrar-level experience, full GMC registration, and current ALS/ATLS/APLS credentials. You will contribute to teaching, audits, and quality improvements while maintaining high standards of patient safety.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 6–12 months NHS experience in Emergency Medicine at Registrar/Middle Grade level.
• Full GMC registration with a current licence to practise.
• ALS/ATLS/APLS certification (current or recently expired).
• MRCP / MRCEM (or equivalent) required.

Aufgaben

• Lead the assessment and management of acutely unwell patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Work flexibly across majors, minors, resus, and rapid assessment zones.
• Support and supervise junior clinicians (FY/CT levels) and Advanced Care Practitioners.
• Participate in clinical decision-making, patient flow coordination, and referrals to specialty teams.
• Contribute to departmental teaching, audit, and quality improvement projects.
• Ensure safe handover and effective communication across shifts.
• Uphold Trust values around patient safety, dignity, and clinical excellence.
