Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in London is seeking a Band 5 Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. You will deliver urgent and critical care, triage, stabilise patients, and work with consultants to provide timely treatment.

The role offers flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, with DBS facilitation support from Pulse Nursing and requires valid NMC registration. Join a dedicated team focused on compassionate, high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to work across nights, weekends and days.
• Current DBS check (Pulse Nursing can help facilitate this).

Responsibilities

• Triage patients on arrival and prioritise care based on severity.
• Administer initial treatments and stabilise patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition.
• Assist the medical team with diagnostics and interpretation of results.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Refer to a dedicated consultant for advice.
• Support a flexible shift schedule including full-time, part-time, and flexible shifts.
