Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is hiring a Warehouse Logistics Operative to support the Minsterley site. You will work in a fast‑paced warehouse and cold store, receiving, storing and dispatching goods while ensuring accuracy and safety.

Joining a collaborative team, you’ll help improve efficiency, reduce waste and comply with food safety standards. Training, PPE and pension benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT and High Reach licences are essential.
• Experience with SAP, WMS or similar warehouse systems is required.
• Experience of stock control and inventory management.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and move products safely while maintaining stock levels.
• Process stock movements using warehouse management systems.
• Pick, prepare and dispatch orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as FLT, PPT, and POPT and perform basic maintenance.
• Follow safety, quality and cost targets and support housekeeping.

Job Title: Warehouse Logistics Operative - Core

Location: Minsterley

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours/Shift Pattern: 42 hours on average per week - 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights (6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am)

Salary: £32,011 per annum Plus overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x hourly rate.

About the role:

We are looking for a Warehouse Logistics Operative to join our team at Minsterley. This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced warehouse and logistics operation, where you'll help ensure products and materials are received, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and on time.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play an important role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality and service while contributing ideas to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

This role will involve working within temperature‑controlled environments, including Cold Store areas. Appropriate PPE and protective clothing will be provided.

What you'll be doing:

• Working across our warehouse and Cold Store areas, helping to receive, store and move products safely while maintaining accurate stock levels
• Receiving finished goods and raw materials accurately and on time
• Picking, preparing and dispatching orders
• Processing stock movements using warehouse management systems
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock accuracy
• Operating manual handling equipment, waste compactors and balers, including carrying out basic routine maintenance
• Operating and training on warehouse equipment including FLT (Fork Lift Truck), PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) and POPT (Powered Order Picking Truck)
• Following company policies, procedures and safety standards at all times
• Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and reduce waste
• Adhering to food safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Supporting warehouse housekeeping and recycling activities, including completing regular audits and closing any actions identified
• Meeting safety, quality, service and cost targets
• Using warehouse and stock management systems effectively
• Carrying out other reasonable duties within your skills and capabilities

What we're looking for:

Essential:

• Valid FLT (Fork Lift Truck) and High Reach licence
• Experience using SAP, WMS or similar warehouse management systems
• Experience of stock control and inventory management
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience operating PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) and POPT (Powered Order Picking Truck) equipment
• Experience working in a warehouse, logistics or food manufacturing environment
