Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Operative to join our Minsterley team. This hands-on role covers receiving, storing and dispatching products, while maintaining stock accuracy and complying with safety and quality standards.

You will work in temperature-controlled environments, use SAP/WMS, and operate FLT, PPT, and POPT equipment. A valid FLT licence and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT (Fork Lift Truck) licence is essential.
• Experience with SAP, WMS or similar warehouse management systems.
• Experience of stock control and inventory management.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and move products safely in warehouse and Cold Store areas.
• Pick, prepare and dispatch orders accurately and on time.
• Process stock movements using warehouse management systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock accuracy.
• Operate and train on FLT, PPT and POPT equipment.
• Follow safety, quality and hygiene standards at all times.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Support housekeeping and recycling activities, including audits.

Job description

We are looking for a Warehouse Logistics Operative to join our team at Minsterley. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse and logistics operation, where you'll help ensure products and materials are received, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and on time. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play an important role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality and service while contributing ideas to improve efficiency and reduce waste. This role will involve working within temperature-controlled environments, including Cold Store areas. Appropriate PPE and protective clothing will be provided. What you'll be doing:

• Working across our warehouse and Cold Store areas, helping to receive, store and move products safely while maintaining accurate stock levels
• Receiving finished goods and raw materials accurately and on time
• Picking, preparing and dispatching orders
• Processing stock movements using warehouse management systems
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock accuracy
• Operating manual handling equipment, waste compactors and balers, including carrying out basic routine maintenance
• Operating and training on warehouse equipment including FLT (Fork Lift Truck), PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) and POPT (Powered Order Picking Truck)
• Following company policies, procedures and safety standards at all times
• Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and reduce waste
• Adhering to food safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Supporting warehouse housekeeping and recycling activities, including completing regular audits and closing any actions identified
• Meeting safety, quality, service and cost targets
• Using warehouse and stock management systems effectively
• Carrying out other reasonable duties within your skills and capabilities
• Valid FLT (Fork Lift Truck) and High Reach licence
• Experience using SAP, WMS or similar warehouse management systems
• Experience of stock control and inventory management
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience operating PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) and POPT (Powered Order Picking Truck) equipment
• Experience working in a warehouse, logistics or food manufacturing environment
