Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence in Telford is seeking a Logistics/Warehouse Administrator Operative (f/m/d) to support day-to-day logistics and warehouse activities. The role blends administrative duties with practical warehousing tasks, including shipments, stock records and customs support.

The ideal candidate is at the beginning of their logistics career with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehousing, stores or logistics administration preferred.
• Ability to perform administrative tasks alongside warehouse activities.
• Basic Microsoft Office and good record-keeping skills.
• Valid UK driving licence and occasional site collections/deliveries.
• Strong English language skills (written and spoken).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and ability to work independently or with teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare courier labels, delivery notes and shipping documentation; arrange collections/deliveries.
• Support inbound and outbound shipments, including bookings and tracking updates.
• Process RMA documents and maintain stock, return and equipment movement records.
• Receive, pick, pack and prepare equipment for shipments to customers, rentals or internal use.
• Support stock counts and maintain inventory and warehouse-location records.
• Receive returned equipment and perform basic condition checks before returning to inventory.
• Maintain an organised, safe and efficient warehouse environment.
• Liaise with internal teams regarding shipment requirements.
• Assist with occasional equipment collections and deliveries to customer sites.

Location: Telford, On site

As a Logistics / Warehouse Administrator Operative (f/m/d), you will join our team in Telford and support the day-to-day running of our logistics and warehouse activities.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining logistics administration with practical warehouse work. You will help prepare and track shipments, create courier documentation, maintain accurate stock records, and support our customs and logistics processes. You will also spend part of your day in the warehouse, receiving deliveries and picking, packing and preparing equipment for shipment.

The position is a great opportunity for someone who is at the beginning of their career in logistics or warehouse operations and would like to build their experience across both the administrative and practical sides of logistics. Previous experience is welcome, but we are equally interested in someone who brings the right attitude, willingness to learn and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare courier labels, delivery notes and standard shipping documentation, and arrange collections and deliveries.
• Support inbound and outbound shipments, including shipment bookings, tracking updates and record keeping.
• Process RMA documentation and maintain accurate stock, return and equipment-movement records.
• Receive, pick, pack and prepare equipment for customer, rental, demo and internal shipments.
• Support stock counts and maintain accurate inventory and warehouse-location records.
• Receive returned rental and demo equipment and carry out basic condition checks for defects, damage and general wear and tear before returning items to inventory.
• Maintain an organised, safe and efficient warehouse environment.
• Liaise with internal teams regarding routine shipment, delivery and collection requirements.
• Support occasional equipment collections and deliveries to customer sites, where required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, stores or logistics administration is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a role that combines administrative tasks with practical warehouse activities.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and confidence maintaining accurate records and data.
• A valid UK driving licence and willingness to make occasional customer-site collections or deliveries when required.
• Good English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with different internal teams.

Advantageous

• Experience using warehouse handling equipment.
• A forklift licence is advantageous but not required; relevant training can be provided.
• Dangerous Goods / shipping certification is advantageous but not required; relevant training can be provided.
