Job summary

Blue Arrow Derby is seeking a Logistics & Transport Management Analyst to join the team at their Denby site on a full-time basis. The role is office based with a 40-hour work week.

You will implement, optimise and improve transport management systems, develop KPI dashboards, and provide data-driven insights to support both operational excellence and strategic development. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is essential to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• You hold a degree or comparable qualification in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience in transport and logistics.
• Strong analytical capabilities and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Power BI for reporting and data modelling.
• Experience in system implementation or logistics improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of transport management systems by acting as a key user and trusted partner for operational teams.
• Supporting transport and warehousing activities, you help ensure reliable daily operations and maintain high service standards across the logistics network.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, reports, and performance templates using Excel and Power BI, enabling transparency and data-driven decisions.
• After analysing operational data, you prepare business cases, cost analyses, and improvement initiatives that support both operational excellence and strategic development.
• Close collaboration with management, you create presentations, performance reports, and insights that guide decision-making and highlight opportunities for optimisation.
• Together with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners, you ensure smooth execution of processes and contribute to logistics-related projects and transformation initiatives.
