Job summary

Blue Arrow Derby is seeking a Logistics & Transport Management Analyst to join their team at the Denby site on a full-time basis. The role focuses on implementing and improving transport management systems, developing KPI dashboards, and preparing cost analyses to drive operational excellence.

The candidate should have a logistics-related degree and practical transport experience, with strong Excel and Power BI skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver data-driven

Qualifications

• A degree or comparable qualification in logistics, supply chain, business admin, or related field.
• Experience in transport and logistics.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel, Power Query and Pivot Tables; Power BI reporting and data modelling.
• Experience with system implementation or as a key user in logistics improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation, optimisation and continuous improvement of transport management systems.
• Support transport and warehousing activities to ensure reliable daily operations and high service standards.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, reports and templates using Excel and Power BI.
• Prepare business cases, cost analyses and improvement initiatives to support operational excellence and strategic development.
• Collaborate with management to create presentations and insights guiding decision making.
