Job summary

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, part of Spirax Group, seeks a Logistics Team Leader to manage and develop the logistics function at Cardrew Industrial Estate. You will drive excellence in goods-in, warehousing, and distribution while leading a safety-conscious, compliant team.

You will coach staff, optimise workflows, and collaborate with internal partners and carriers to ensure on-time, cost-effective service. This role is on-site with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven logistics leadership and people-management experience.
• Experience across warehousing, goods-in, materials handling and distribution.
• Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Lean, 6S and problem-solving to improve efficiency.
• Familiarity with ERP and MS Office; understand safety, quality and ISO standards.
• Experience supporting investigations (root-cause analysis).
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Commitment to self-development and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing logistics team, coaching and mentoring for a positive culture.
• Drive day-to-day logistics across goods-in, warehousing, materials handling, packing and distribution.
• Champion continuous improvement using Lean principles to reduce waste and grow the business.
• Own people leadership and compliance including absence management, recruitment support, performance, safety and ISO standards.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders to meet targets and deliver a reliable logistics service.
