Job summary

ENS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Hire Logistics Team Leader based at our Wickford, Essex site. You will oversee the preparation, dispatch, return and maintenance of specialist hire equipment in a hands-on leadership role.

The role demands strong organisational skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to develop processes as the team expands. Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, full-time permanent opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or equipment hire is essential.
• Strong supervisory or team leadership experience is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prep, dispatch, return and maintenance of hire equipment.
• Lead day-to-day operations of the hire logistics function.
• Develop and implement processes as the department grows.
• Ensure accurate stock and inventory records and reporting.
