Job summary

Optima UK is seeking a proactive Logistics Consultant to support assessment, development and improvement of logistics and supply chain operations on-site with clients and internal stakeholders.

The role covers operational assessment, process optimisation, data analysis, and the delivery of measurable improvements in service, cost, efficiency and performance. You will work across transport, warehousing, inventory and fulfilment, applying Lean and other improvement methodologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and present findings.
• Self-motivated, adaptable with ability to manage priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean or value stream mapping.
• Ability to plan and coordinate improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of logistics cost drivers and service requirements.
• Willingness to work across operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify inefficiencies in logistics operations.
• Analyse and redesign processes for efficiency.
• Develop performance metrics and dashboards.
• Support implementation of new logistics systems.
