Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a proactive Logistics Manager to oversee day-to-day logistics across the UK and Europe, coordinating shipments, transport and documentation. This hands-on role involves working with a small team, optimizing processes and maintaining strong provider relationships to ensure on-time delivery.

You will manage day-to-day operations, imports/exports, and ERP-based workflows, while driving continuous improvements in efficiency and accuracy within a growing business.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in logistics, including import operations.
• Experience coordinating shipments, transport and deliveries.
• Familiarity with Prophet ERP or a similar ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day logistics across UK and European shipments.
• Plan movement, storage and distribution of goods in line with customer requirements.
• Monitor shipment schedules and communicate potential delays.
• Build relationships with transport providers, shipping lines, clearing agents and warehouses.
• Lead the Logistics Coordinator and provide operational guidance.
• Raise purchase orders and sales orders in the ERP system.
• Coordinate container haulage, pallet distribution, deliveries and collections.
• Manage import/export documentation and customs processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements across logistics operations.
