Elis is seeking a Logistics Supervisor in Reading to ensure compliance with policies, support the Logistics Manager, and optimise routes for efficiency. You will manage drivers, monitor maintenance, and drive improvements through data-driven decisions.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and a good grasp of Health & Safety practices, with a valid UK driving licence and CPC preferred. Opportunities exist across logistics and operations.

• Deputise for Logistics Manager in their absence.
• Ensure vehicle, driver and site compliance with legal requirements.
• Carry out risk assessments on customer premises when required.
• Respond to department requests with timely, efficient solutions.
• Maintain stock levels to support business continuity.
• Ensure drivers meet customer service targets.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and regulatory documents.
• Aim for route optimisation savings and minimal use of agency drivers.
• Lead and develop personnel with SMART objectives.
• Develop budgets with the Logistics Manager and monitor variances.
• Contribute to environmental efficiency in routing.
