Qualifications

• Supervisory experience of 2–3 years desirable
• Solid grasp of health and safety requirements in transport/logistics
• Strong data interpretation and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lead teams and deliver improvements in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company vision, values and policies at all times
• Deputise in the absence of the Logistics Manager
• Ensure vehicle and driver compliance with licences and legal requirements
• Conduct risk assessments on customer premises for changes
• Respond promptly to requests with efficient, calculated solutions
• Maintain stock levels for business continuity
• Ensure drivers meet agreed customer service levels
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and maintain documentation per health & safety rules
• Achieve route optimisation savings and minimise use of agency drivers
• Lead and develop personnel using SMART objectives with regular reviews
• Develop budgets with Logistics Manager and control variances
• Contribute to reducing environmental impact via efficient routing
• Ensure driver compliance with EN14065 standard
• Meet Service Agent KPIs for service and loss prevention
