Job summary

CDM Recruitment Ltd - Engineering & Manufacturing Specialists is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their growing operations team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This hands-on role supports daily warehousing duties, coordinates activities with the team, and ensures safety, quality and efficiency in a busy engineering environment.

You'll supervise day-to-day operations, handle stock control, operate a counterbalance forklift, and help drive continuous improvement with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience within engineering, manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Good organisational and IT skills.
• Strong health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations.

• Loading and unloading vehicles.

CDM Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering business for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their growing operations team.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with warehouse, logistics or stores experience looking to play a key role in a busy engineering environment. Working alongside the Warehouse Supervisor, you'll help coordinate daily warehouse activities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
