Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Logistics security officer to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a safe environment free from crime for visitors and staff.

The role includes depot patrols, visible security presence, CCTV monitoring and liaison with depot management; shifts are 4 on 4 off, with a pay rate of £13.23 per hour and SIA licence preferred. A full 5-year history vetting is required and on-site duties such as gatehouse tasks are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have a full 5-year checkable employment/education history.
• Prefer SIA licence or SIA certificates; training may be provided.
• Experience in security operations and customer service is desirable.

Responsibilities

• To deliver industry leading customer service.
• To conduct patrols of the depot.
• To provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors, and visitors.
• Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with the depot management teams.
• To deter theft and respond to on-site incidents and requests for assistance.
• Gatehouse duties including booking in vehicles and supporting transport operations.
