Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Relief Logistics security officer to deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe environment free from the fear of crime for visitors and colleagues.

It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or have training for a licence; a full 5-year checkable history is required. Benefits include contracted hours, annual leave, pension, and a comprehensive induction program.

Qualifications

• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Conduct patrols of the depot.
• Provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors, and visitors.
• Utilise CCTV systems to support crime and stock loss reduction.
• Liaise with the depot management teams.
• Deter theft and other poor practices.
• Support access and egress to the site as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading customer service.
• Conduct patrols of the depot.
• Provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors, and visitors.
• Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with the depot management teams.
• Deter theft, whether internal and/or external.
• Conduct searches (to be discussed at interview).
• Respond to on-site incidents and coordinate with client/emergency services.
