Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Logistics security officer to deliver outstanding customer service while keeping the depot safe from crime. You will patrol the site, assist visitors and colleagues, and operate CCTV to deter theft and stock loss.

Applicants should have an SIA licence or be willing to train; a full 5-year checkable history is required. The role offers contracted hours, annual leave, pension, and a comprehensive induction with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to undertake SIA licence training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry-leading customer service.
• Patrol the depot to deter theft and ensure safety.
• Provide a visible security presence for staff and visitors.
• Use CCTV to support theft and stock loss reduction.
• Coordinate with depot management and access control.
• Respond to incidents and escalate as required.
• Assist with gatehouse duties and transport operations.
• Maintain security procedure breaches reporting.
