Job summary

STEF Langdons Ltd in Redditch is seeking a Transport Operator to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work Monday to Friday days (07:00-18:00) and handle load building, route planning and coordination with workshop colleagues.

The role offers a highly competitive salary of £32,101.54 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for progression within a leading import/export operation serving the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 Supply Chain Operator or equivalent.
• Experience in a team-based office environment, preferably customer-facing.
• Ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data.
• Extensive knowledge and application of transport regulations and health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build loads and plan routes efficiently and effectively.
• Regularly review and update plans and communicate with all relevant colleagues.
• Quote prices for movement of loads upon request.
• Ensure all company systems are updated accurately and on a timely basis and relevant paperwork is in place.
• Work closely with workshop colleagues to ensure resource requirements and service schedules are met.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
