Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our operations department in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods, requiring excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily logistics operations.
• Communicate with external suppliers and internal teams for timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Monitor shipments and address issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare and process related documents.
• Support planning and executing schedules.
• Liaise with Customer Service for inquiries and updates.
• Resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
• Provide out-of-hours cover on a rotating basis.
• Ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Contribute to efficiency and customer satisfaction improvements.

Core Skills

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or operations support preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• NVQ Diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of logistics software is advantageous.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
