Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a reliable Logistics Operative at our Swanwick site to coordinate receipt, movement, storage and disposal of goods while supporting Workplace and Facilities Management teams.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, the ability to obtain SC Security Clearance, and solid health & safety knowledge. Experience in logistics or facilities management is preferred. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SC Security Clearance.
• Understanding of safe working practices, manual handling requirements and health and safety procedures.
• Experience in logistics, distribution, facilities management, workplace services or a customer-facing operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, distribution, storage and disposal of parcels, equipment and goods across locations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and stored items ensuring audit and safety compliance.
• Operate forklift and other logistics equipment following full training.
• Support furniture moves and workplace projects across sites.
• Provide excellent customer service to colleagues, customers, suppliers and service providers.
