This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting different people and taking pride in completing work to a high standard.

Based from the Swindon Logistics team, you will receive a daily job sheet and will be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries and installations efficiently and professionally.

You will work closely with Housing Officers and other members of the team and may occasionally come into contact with Service Users, so a professional and respectful approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver, assemble and install white goods, furnishings and other inventory within properties.
  • Ensure all deliveries and installations are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Liaise with Housing Officers to ensure deliveries are completed on time.
  • Leave properties clean, safe and tidy following completed work.
  • Report any hazards, defects or concerns identified within properties immediately.
  • Maintain accurate records and return completed paperwork as required.
  • Communicate completed and outstanding jobs to management.
  • Notify the Team Leader where jobs cannot be completed and provide clear feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide support or on-the-job training where required.
  • Provide cover for other team members and support the Line Manager when required.
  • Manage company equipment responsibly.
  • Keep up to date with emails, calls, messages and other communications.
  • Use relevant systems, including email and CCMS, to acknowledge and manage job requirements.
  • Follow all company procedures and relevant contract requirements.
  • Undertake required training and development.
