Job summary

McLaren Automotive Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Packaging Engineer to design, optimise and implement packaging solutions across the supply chain. You will work with logistics, production and procurement to ensure efficient material handling and compliant packaging standards.

With 1–2 years in packaging or related fields, you will apply lean principles to drive improvements, manage PFEP data, and collaborate with suppliers on cost-effective packaging while supporting model launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Packaging, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 1–2 years experience in packaging, logistics, or supply chain engineering, ideally in manufacturing or automotive.
• Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement; analytical approach to packaging performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration to work with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing packaging solutions to optimise handling, storage, and transport.
• Work with internal teams to ensure packaging meets operational and production needs.
• Define packaging specifications and standards for consistency and efficiency.
• Contribute to cost-effective, sustainable packaging with suppliers.
• Support model launches and packaging deliverables for continuous improvement.
• Analyse packaging processes to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
• Help implement lean packaging solutions and reduce waste.
• Maintain PFEP data and track packaging designs, materials, and specs.
