Job summary

McLaren Special Operations (MSO) in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead the Logistics Operations and New Model Launch team. You will oversee inbound/outbound logistics, stores, and launch readiness for bespoke programmes, ensuring on-time parts supply and production flow.

You will build a high-performing team, set KPIs, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with McLaren's standards of craftsmanship and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in automotive operations leadership in low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in end-to-end logistics and launch management.
• Experience defining department strategic plans and monitoring KPIs.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a robust logistics and new model launch operations strategy.
• Promote and enhance a high performing team with clear KPIs and continuous improvement.
• Lead and mentor team to develop skills and accountability.
• Oversee demand planning for Bespoke, Heritage and Special Commission projects.
