During your placement, you will learn how a major global organisation operates, contribute to Continuous Improvement projects, measure processes and support improved picking and packing for production and aftermarket customers.

Qualifications

• Applicants studying toward a Business/Supply Chain/Logistics/Planning/Statistics degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present to stakeholders.
• Solution oriented with strong problem solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities within the facility and roll out improvement projects.
• Measure processes and quantify improvements using CI/Industrial Engineering techniques.
• Coordinate cross-functional UK Logistics Centre projects with strategic importance.
• Review and improve picking & packing processes for production and aftermarket customers.
