Job summary

GXO is seeking an Operational Administrator to join the IKEA site in Dartford. This full-time role is 40 hours per week, with a 06:00–14:00 shift, five days out of seven, based at a fast-paced distribution centre.

You will coordinate inbound/outbound volumes, work with drivers and colleagues to ensure accurate, timely deliveries, and support operational planning using WMS. Proactive, flexible applicants are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems in distribution operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for spreadsheets and databases.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Flexible and reliable in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound volumes in a fast-paced distribution centre to ensure smooth operations.
• Work collaboratively with multiple teams, colleagues, customers and drivers to deliver outstanding service.
• Manage operational planning and order flow using WMS and real-time decision-making to maximise efficiency and service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement and support development of processes to enhance warehouse performance and productivity.
• Champion safety, accuracy and compliance, ensuring loads are dispatched correctly and site standards are upheld.
