Job summary

EVRi International in Newcastle is seeking an Operations Controller for a permanent 45-hour week. The role includes assisting in driver pre-brief/de-brief, maintaining driver documentation, and ensuring company documentation is up to date.

You will communicate with drivers and customers via telephone and IT systems to support smooth operations. Key duties include driver pre-briefs, asset management, SP payments, and comprehensive admin tasks with strict filing and vetting procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration tasks.
• Industry knowledge relevant to logistics.
• Flexible team player with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Driver pre-briefing and de-briefing as required.
• Manage assets, container portal, daily container counts, keys and scanners.
• Check SP payments and generate daily/monthly reports.
• Complete admin tasks and maintain filing system; vetting and driver setup.
• Respond to customer queries via IT systems.
• Implement reasonable requests from managers/supervisors.
• Comply with health and safety policies per site handbook; maintain on-site behaviour.
• Follow timekeeping, attendance and performance guidelines.
