Job Title: Logistics Manager (maternity cover)

Reporting to: Director of IT & Operations
Role Overview:

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the entire international supply chain, from production and distribution to wholesalers, retailers, our Flagship Store, and E-commerce. The role involves coordinating these flows effectively on both strategic and daily levels. You will ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of the right products to the right locations, managing third-party logistics and freight orders.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Build and maintain successful relationships with warehouses both in person and remotely.
  2. Ensure accuracy in data control regarding stock and flows.
  3. Manage relationships effectively within the organization and with external partners.
  4. Work proactively with executives to translate supply chain strategies, address obstacles, and develop new contracts.
  5. Deeply understand logistic flows, customs, and regulation to develop comprehensive logistics strategies.
  6. Understand the implications of Customs/Duty Taxes on the supply chain and provide solutions.
  7. Manage IT systems to control stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
  8. Utilize information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle, evaluate performance, and plan improvements.
  9. Allocate and manage resources according to changing needs.
  10. Develop the business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems, and producing solutions.
  11. Work with the team to develop improved operational flows.
  12. Continuously seek to improve business performance within legislative, fuel, and environmental constraints.
  13. Manage staff training and motivate team members.
  14. Plan and manage projects, providing consultancy services as needed.
Skills & Experience
  1. 5+ years of experience in logistics or related fields.
  2. A degree in business, computing, distribution, or management is preferred.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, across all organizational levels.
  4. A logical, systematic approach to work with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  5. Commercial awareness and numeracy skills.
  6. Some IT literacy, including system integration and information flow management.
  7. Ability to manage change effectively.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration abilities.
  9. Skilled negotiator with high analytical capability.
  10. Resilience in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
