Job summary

Unipart Manufacturing in Coventry seeks a high-calibre Logistics Manager to architect and manage end-to-end site supply chain operations for a flagship electrification project. You will lead inbound/outbound logistics, implement lean pull systems, and drive world-class material control in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Logistics leadership in high-volume automotive/industrial/JIT settings.
• Experience implementing Kanban and pull systems.
• Strong command of MRP/ERP software and scheduling techniques.
• Proven track record leading warehousing and planning teams.
• Strategic thinker with potential to build a standalone unit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound logistics, production planning, expediting, and outbound shipping.
• Implement and sustain Lean pull systems and line-side replenishment.
• Drive inventory accuracy, turnover, and logistics cost estimation.
• Embed Unipart Way tools, standardised work, and visual communication cells.
• Maintain SHE standards across warehouse and material handling.
• Shape processes and adapt to changing priorities as the project grows.
