• Strategic Planning: Align logistics strategy and regional DC plans with business objectives.
• Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee receiving, storage, picking, replenishment and dispatch.
• Distribution: Ensure on-time delivery, accurate orders, and route efficiency.
• Customer Service: Partner with Sales and Procurement; resolve delivery issues; uphold service levels.
• Quality Assurance and Safe Work Practices: Enforce food safety and OHSA compliance; audit readiness.
• Cost Management and Operational Efficiency: Manage budgets; monitor transport costs; drive productivity gains.
• Team / People Leadership: Lead and develop logistics team; ensure succession planning and engagement.
• Change Management: Implement logistics innovations and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Stock Management: Maintain inventory accuracy; oversee cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
