Obateni African Foods in Sunderland is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to supervise the movement, storage, and distribution of goods as the business grows. You will coordinate supplier deliveries, ensure on-time stock receipt, and maintain precise records of stock movement and logistics.

The role requires strong planning, supplier management, and IT skills with familiarity in stock systems. Experience in FMCG or food retail is preferred, with visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in supply-chain operations, inventory control, distribution, logistics or related field.
• Knowledge of managing suppliers, delivery, stock transportation, and order fulfilment.
• Strong planning and organising abilities.
• Strong IT abilities including stock/inventory systems and spreadsheets.

Responsabilités

• Oversee movement, receiving, storage, and distribution of goods across the operation.
• Arrange and manage supplier deliveries and delivery schedules.
• Track stock-flow, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with purchasing.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery, logistics, and stock movements.
• Provide regular reports to senior management and support growth of retail/wholesale divisions.
