Job summary

Elis in Durham City is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead the department and ensure OTIF service through a professional delivery team. You will plan resources, manage drivers and support staff, and align logistics with customer expectations.

You will develop budgets, monitor route profitability and drive continuous improvement across operations, with a focus on safety and compliance. Join a high-performing team in a UK-based role.

Qualifications

• Lead and develop the Logistics Department to ensure OTIF delivery to customers.
• Ensure compliance with O licence, site, EU and other requirements, with corrective actions when needed.
• Monitor and improve routes, efficiency and service levels using data and systems.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organising and coordinating resources to meet logistics needs (including temporary staff).
• Lead, manage and develop personnel with SMART objectives through regular reviews.
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor variances and ensure profitable routes.
• Foster strong relationships between logistics, service and production for best customer service.
• Review activities and implement improvements for efficiency and value.
• Drive environmental impact reductions through route efficiency.
