Job summary

ScottishPower, part of the Iberdrola Group, is recruiting for MAP Services Logistics Lead in Glasgow. This hybrid, full-time role oversees the meter logistics network across GB, including reverse logistics, with a salary up to £40,500 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operational management or professional role within logistics or industrial stock control/factory environments.
• Utilities industry management experience with understanding of equipment and materials used in logistics.
• Experience in a commercial environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of contract management.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make risk-balanced decisions.
• Track record of continuous improvement in daily operations.
• Strong focus on delivering first-class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the operational planning, management and control of all Logistics operations within the meter supply chain across GB geography.
• Operate the full order cycle of meters from manufacture to distribution to 3rd party installers in the UK.
• Manage the reverse logistics cycle from meter failure to asset transport.
• Collaborate with Technical team on test schedules and sampling of faulty meters.
• Review logistics performance including stock levels, delivery times and costs.
