ScottishPower Energy Retail Limited in Motherwell is seeking an Asset Control Manager to lead stores, logistics and purchasing for our Metering Estate and Revenue Assurance teams across Scotland and the North West of England. Based in Newarthill with travel to Warrington, you will oversee stock, assets and supplier relationships, driving efficiency and cost savings.

ScottishPower is looking for a Stores, Logistics & Purchasing Manager to lead a critical function supporting our Metering Estate and Revenue Assurance teams across Scotland and the North West of England.

What you’ll be doing

Based in Newarthill and overseeing our Warrington operation, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of stores, logistics and purchasing activities that keep field teams equipped, productive and ready to deliver. Travel between sites will be required. You'll lead a team responsible for managing stock, assets, equipment, fleet requirements and supplier relationships across a geographically dispersed operation. The role combines people leadership, operational planning and financial accountability, ensuring the right resources are available at the right time while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and service delivery. Working closely with operational managers, suppliers and senior stakeholders across the business, you'll drive continuous improvement, identify opportunities to reduce costs and enhance performance, and help shape the future of stores and logistics operations. From forecasting stock requirements and managing budgets to improving processes and maintaining asset control, you'll play a key role in supporting business performance.
