Job summary

First Recruitment Group is seeking a Logistics Engineer for a contract role in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will lead logistics planning across complex engineering projects, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and develop worksite logistics plans and technical documentation.

Responsibilities include site visits, investigations, preparing reports, and supporting PCI/CPP development to ensure safe, compliant site operations from concept through completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics engineering or planning.
• Experience in industrial or construction environments.
• Experience developing logistics plans and documentation.
• Inventory management and data handling experience.
• Strong planning and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics planning and engineering on assigned worksites.
• Conduct site visits and logistics investigations.
• Develop Worksite Logistics Plans and technical docs.
• Produce logistics reports (inventory, vehicle movement, routing, throughput).
• Coordinate with contractors and logistics partners.
• Support PCI and CPP development and project mobilisation.
