Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead the logistics function, taking ownership of team performance, stock accuracy and the movement and dispatch of goods. This role offers the chance to develop people, improve processes using lean methods such as 5S and FIFO, and coordinate with Manufacturing, Planning and Customer Services while maintaining

Formación

• Experience leading logistics or warehouse teams in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong stock-control knowledge and ERP proficiency (IFS a plus).
• Experience with international dispatch and compliance.

White Label Recruitment is recruiting a Logistics Manager for a manufacturing business in Irlam. Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll lead the logistics function, taking ownership of team performance, stock accuracy and the efficient movement and dispatch of goods.

The role

• Lead, coach and develop the logistics team, setting clear expectations and building accountability.
• Manage warehouse operations, stock control and domestic and international dispatch.
• Improve on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, productivity and customer service.
• Use operational data to identify problems, address root causes and deliver measurable improvements.
• Strengthen processes through lean working, 5S, FIFO and better material flow.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Planning and Customer Services, while maintaining high safety standards.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have experience leading logistics or warehouse operations within manufacturing or distribution, with a track record of developing teams and improving performance.

You’ll be a visible, approachable leader who can engage people, set standards and follow through. Strong stock-control knowledge and confidence using an ERP system are important; IFS experience would be useful, but experience with a comparable system is welcome. Shipping and export experience would also be advantageous.
