Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Corby is hiring an experienced HR Advisor to partner with site leaders and deliver a full HR service across the operation. You will cover employee relations, recruitment, onboarding and development while ensuring policy compliance.

You will work with the People Team to implement the site People Plan, provide guidance on employment law, and drive engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor or HR Generalist in a fast-paced operation (logistics/warehousing).
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and policy application.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience handling employee relations cases and HR reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and guidance on employment law, company policies and best practice, supporting managers and colleagues across the operation.
• Assist managers with employee relations matters, coaching and developing leadership capability while ensuring consistency in the application of policies and procedures.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and organisational change activities, including restructures and consultation processes where required.
• Build strong relationships with managers, colleagues and external partners while supporting employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
• Produce accurate management information, maintain site people data and support continuous improvement projects across the HR function.
