Job summary

Matchtech seeks a Head of Logistics & Operations to lead multi-channel fulfilment, logistics and warehouse operations. You will own performance across warehousing, inventory, WMS usage, carrier relationships and 3PL partnerships to deliver service, efficiency and safety.

You will drive operational excellence, lead a team of around 35 with 6 direct reports, and collaborate with the leadership team to support growth and continuous improvement across site operations.

Qualifications

• Proven senior operational leadership in distribution, logistics or fulfilment.
• Accountability for performance, service, cost and people in a site/operation.
• Strong experience managing warehouse, fulfilment, inventory and 3PLs.
• Proven supplier management and carrier tender/negotiation track record.
• Experience driving Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
• Experience with WMS, ERP and carrier management systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead all warehouse, fulfilment, inventory and logistics operations to meet service, cost and safety targets.
• Develop and implement strategies aligned with growth and customer requirements.
• Manage inbound, storage, picking, packing and outbound activities for productivity.
• Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, inventory accuracy and cost performance.
• Oversee eCommerce, retail, wholesale, marketplace and B2B fulfilment channels.
• Lead carrier management including supplier reviews and tender processes.
• Manage relationships with 3PLs and ensure service levels and improvements.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement across site operations.
