• Experience in Transport, Warehouse, or Despatch.
• Supervisory/management experience in FMCG/logistics.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong IT skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Decisive, proactive with problem-solving.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by promoting a Safety First culture.
• Lead shifts, ensure staffing, training and motivation to meet shift objectives.
• Manage absence, conduct and performance with HR, union reps, and senior management.
• Recruit, train and develop staff reflecting company values.
• Ensure despatched goods meet customer expectations and code control.
• Ensure departing vehicles are documented, loaded and secured.
• Lead, coach and develop Transport & Despatch Coordinators and teams.
• Drive safety culture and compliance with health, safety and legislation.
• Prepare and present operational performance updates and reports.
• Build collaborative relationships across departments.
