Job summary
McLaren Automotive is seeking a Logistics Engineer to design, develop and implement internal logistics processes across the production flow, from warehouse to lineside. You will help optimise part presentation, delivery media and kitting strategies to support a fast-paced premium automotive environment.
Reporting to the Logistics Engineering Manager, you will deliver day-to-day engineering tasks, maintain master data, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to
Qualifications
- Proven experience in internal logistics in a production environment.
- Experience with Kanban, JIT and JIS replenishment.
- Familiar with Six Sigma, Lean and Kaizen.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimise internal logistics processes from warehouse through to lineside.
- Define and implement lineside feed strategies that meet manufacturing requirements.
- Develop and maintain kitting strategies and replenishment processes.
- Implement updates to logistics processes in response to production changes and constraints.
- Ensure delivery media and lineside presentation standards protect parts and support efficient production.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to align solutions.
