Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Logistics Driver for a permanent, full-time role in the UK. You will handle delivery and collection of consumables and samples, ensuring courteous client interactions and compliant safety practices.

Shift patterns include 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with AM/PM slots requiring flexibility. The position emphasises vehicle safety, cleanliness, accurate reporting, and adherence to Eurofins’ standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual B Category Driving Licence.
• Experience in delivery/collection in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Ability to operate temperature-controlled vehicles and large vans up to 3.5 tonnes.
• Strong customer interaction and communication skills.
• Proficient with IT systems to process work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tasks allocated by Logistics Team Leaders efficiently and safely.
• Ensure the vehicle is road safe and kept clean inside/outside daily.
• Report collection/delivery issues to Logistics Team Leaders.
• Report vehicle defects promptly to Logistics Team Leaders.
• Complete worksheets on the digital work management platform.
• Wear and present Eurofins uniform as provided to promote the brand.
• Check equipment at customer drop-off points in date and working order.
• Keep customer drop-off locations tidy and free from rubbish.
• Complete all required company training.
• Respond to reasonable requests and maintain safety standards.
• Adopt a continuous improvement mindset and raise safety concerns.

Job Description

Unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. This is a permanent role. 45 hours per week. Monday - Friday. AM and PM shifts. Flexibility required.

Purpose of the post:

Logistics drivers at Eurofins are the contact point with our clients and it is important that the interaction at this point is courteous and polite. Logistics drivers are responsible for delivering and collection from our clients with consumables and samples and ensuring that the experience that our clients have at this point is a pleasant and efficient one.

• Effective and efficient carrying out of all work task allocated by the Logistics Team leaders
• Ensuring the vehicle that is being operated is safe for the road daily
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean inside and out
• Reporting of any issues with collections and deliveries to Logistics Team Leaders
• Reporting of any vehicle defects directly to Logistics Team Leaders
• Complete all require tasks set out in worksheets on digital work management platform
• Promote Eurofins image by wearing a presentable uniform which is provided
• Ensure all equipment at customer drop off locations is in date and working and feedback issues
• Ensure customer drop off locations are kept clean and free from rubbish
• Complete all company training
• Respond to any reasonable
