Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in the United Kingdom is seeking a Logistics Driver on a 6-month FTC, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday with AM/PM shifts. You will deliver and collect from clients, handling temperature-controlled items and ensuring courteous, efficient service.

Responsibilities include safe driving, vehicle care, accurate reporting, and upholding Eurofins' high standards while wearing the provided uniform and completing digital worksheets and training.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual B Category Driving Licence
• A working knowledge of delivery and collection operations within a temperature-controlled environment
• Delivery and collection operations
• Operating temperature-controlled vehicles
• Driving large vans up to 3.5 tonne
• Use of IT equipment to process work
• Highly Organised

• Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Effective and efficient carrying out of all work task allocated by the Logistics Team leaders
• Ensuring the vehicle that is being operated is safe for the road daily
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean inside and out
• Reporting of any issues with collections and deliveries to Logistics Team Leaders
• Reporting of any vehicle defects directly to Logistics Team Leaders
• Complete all required tasks set out in worksheets on digital work management platform
• Promote Eurofins image by wearing a presentable uniform which is provided
• Ensure all equipment at customer drop off locations is in date and working and feedback issues
• Ensure customer drop off locations are kept clean and free from rubbish
• Complete all company training
• Respond to any reasonable
• Have a continuous improvement mindset and always operate safety and raise safety concerns

Purpose of the post

Logistics drivers at Eurofins are the contact point with our clients and it is important that the interaction at this point is courteous and polite. Logistics drivers are responsible for delivering and collection from our clients with consumables and samples and ensuring that the experience that our clients have at this point is a pleasant and efficient one.
