Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is recruiting a Logistics Driver in the United Kingdom to deliver and collect samples at client sites, ensuring courteous service and safe operations. The role is permanent, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with AM/PM shifts and flexible requirements described.

You will follow company processes and training to uphold Eurofins standards. Responsibilities include safe driving, vehicle cleanliness, reporting defects, and maintaining accurate worksheets on the digital

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual B Category Driving Licence.
• Working knowledge of delivery and collection operations in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Delivery and collection operations experience.
• Operating temperature-controlled vehicles.
• Ability to drive large vans up to 3.5 tonnes.
• Use of IT equipment to process work.
• Highly organized and resilient.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Effectively and efficiently carry out tasks allocated by Logistics Team leaders.
• Ensure the vehicle operated is safe for the road daily.
• Keep the vehicle clean inside and out.
• Report collection/delivery issues to Logistics Team Leaders.
• Report any vehicle defects to Logistics Team Leaders.
• Complete tasks in worksheets on the digital work management platform.
• Promote Eurofins image by wearing a presentable uniform.
• Ensure equipment at customer drop-off locations is in date and working and feedback issues.
• Keep customer drop-off locations clean and free from rubbish.
• Complete all company training.
• Respond to any reasonable requests.
• Maintain continuous improvement mindset and raise safety concerns.

Job Description

Purpose of the post:

Logistics drivers at Eurofins are the contact point with our clients and it is important that the interaction at this point is courteous and polite. Logistics drivers are responsible for delivering and collection from our clients with consumables and samples and ensuring that the experience that our clients have at this point is a pleasant and efficient one.

• Effective and efficient carrying out of all work task allocated by the Logistics Team leaders
• Ensuring the vehicle that is being operated is safe for the road daily
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean inside and out
• Reporting of any issues with collections and deliveries to Logistics Team Leaders
• Reporting of any vehicle defects directly to Logistics Team Leaders

• Promote Eurofins image by wearing a presentable uniform which is provided
