Job summary

Day Group is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support Crawley and Shoreham operations, coordinating deliveries, weighbridge activities, and haulage across the South East. You will work with customers, drivers, hauliers, and site teams to maintain smooth material movement and on-time service.

The role combines administration, transport coordination and compliance tasks in a busy logistics environment, offering variety, teamwork and career progression within a growing business.

Qualifications

• Proven organisational and administrative abilities.
• Strong communication skills over the telephone.
• Good route-planning awareness and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer orders, transport requests and operational enquiries.
• Plan incoming materials, outgoing deliveries, and internal transfers across Crawley and Shoreham.
• Manage vehicle allocations across the HGV fleet and external haulage providers.
• Source and coordinate third-party hauliers to meet needs.
• Oversee weighbridge activities and maintain accurate records.
• Administer transport documentation and invoicing support as needed.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental standards.
