Job summary

TipTopJob in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a busy freight forwarding team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will manage shipments from booking to final delivery, ensuring a smooth, compliant service for customers.

The role requires 2+ years in Freight Forwarding, import/export and cross-trade experience, knowledge of CDS customs procedures and Incoterms, and ideally CargoWise.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience within Freight Forwarding or Logistics.
• Experience handling import, export and cross trade shipments.
• Good understanding of CDS customs procedures and Incoterms.
• CargoWise experience would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage import, export and cross trade shipments from start to finish
• Prepare quotations and pricing for customer shipments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, overseas agents and suppliers
• Arrange collections, deliveries and transport solutions
• Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and compliant with customs regulations
• Input and maintain shipment data using CargoWise
• Process supplier invoices and liaise with the accounts department where required
• Resolve any shipment or transport issues promptly and professionally
• Provide regular shipment updates and deliver exceptional customer service throughout

Due to continued business growth, our client, a well:established and respected Freight Forwarder, is looking to recruit an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their busy Birmingham office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a freight forwarding professional with experience managing import, export and cross trade shipments who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service and working in a fast:paced logistics environment.

What Youll Do
